|
|
With apologies for late notice, the planned organiser for this year's FOGR tournament is unable to do so. Instead, I'll be stepping up to organise this event.
We will be running an 800 point event, with no scenarios this year. Lists to be chosen from the Wars of Religion army book. Please submit your lists to absolutelyaveragewargamer@gmail.com by April 9th.
The event will be held on 22-23 April, opening doors at 9:30am each day, with first round each day to begin play at 10:00am.
Again, apologies for the late notice with this event. |

Thanks for the heads up.
So no date restriction within the lists, correct? |

No date restrictions. Anything from that book is fine. |

Have you painted everything? Currently finishing off some shot and extra limbers. The joy of a tournament that pushes you to finish off things that you've had for years unpainted. |

A tough first day, Lyle killed off two my generals (in the space of 30 seconds) and captured one! |

Thanks Tyler for running things. Looking forward to next year - not fussed by period or theatre, just good to get the Renaissance toys out. |

The Swedish army has been vanquished, Gustavus is dead (in one game anyway!), and the carrion birds grow fat upon the lead (tin?) of the unfortunate.
Thanks Tyler for stepping up to run the tournament, a very enjoyable weekend. Even when you lose, a bad days war gaming is still better than......pretty much most other ways to spend a weekend
I'd also like to thank my opponents for three very enjoyable games, (and remind them than payments can be made at the agreed rate in non-sequential notes in an un-marked paper bag....... ).
Ah well, there's always next year..... _________________ The Dead Cost Nothing! |
