Sounds good Peter & Andrew - 10.30am start then a 2nd game after lunch? Who wants to play am/pm?

Happy to play anything from either 2e Book, though I am yet to really look at the new Age of Crusades boards. But please let me know what you chaps would prefer to play.

cheers
Mark

Hi Andrew and Mark
I have looked at both the Age of Vikings and Crusaders Books....I can do Normans ( or Byzantines/Crusaders) starting at 10.30...I now have a Bolt Action intro game in the arvo so that might work. Mark and me in the morning and Mark and Andrew after lunch.
Peter

Sounds great. I am happy to run Age of Vikings. Can pretty much field most armies, so let me know if either of you have a preferred victim err foe you would like to face...

cheers

I haven't seen

Anglo Saxons
Carolingians
The Last Romans
Welsh
Pagan Rus
JormsVikings

on the table for 2e yet. though not overly fussed, don't get to play a lot of Saga so just keen to get minis on the table.

Okay, Carolingians in the morning, Welsh in the afternoon, what could go wrong with that...?

cheers

Thanks Mark
I presume no legendary units? I will just bring a" straight" army.

That's definitely my preference too Peter. I think the Saga 2e 'specials' are better than 1e, if still not perfect, but I think the game is much much better and vastly more fun without them.

cheers

Okay, no specials will re-gig warband selection.

Richard, happy to play after Mark if you are around. My SAGA games don't take to long.

Cause am really, really good at the game, not cause I get confused by all the battle boards and allocate my saga dice poorly, or get rules wrong...
