Hi there,

I haven't played a game of FoG since the singles tourn last year and I am wondering if anyone is free to play at the next meeting (April 19)?

I am army-less and am not tied to any particular period, but barring that will borrow Damian P's Romans.

Cheers,
Paul

Hi Paul,

I am free to give you a game on the 19th.

I have Later Carthaginian or Later Republican Roman. Or I can bring both?

Regards,
Charles

Charles,

I would be happy to command either of those armies and they seem like appropriate opponents! Let me know if you need an army list, but I am happy to go with what you suggest (or have).

Are you able to do a morning game?

Cheers,
Paul

Fantastic! If you don't have a preference, I'd be interested in commanding the Romans - but not fussed either way.

See you on Sunday at 10am?

Paul,

bad news our game on Sunday is a no-go. A work commitment has come up (read sick staff member) and I will have to cover for him on Sunday. Sorry to get you hope ups. May be we could play this game next month.

Charles,

That perfectly understandable - let's do next month then.

Anyone else looking for a morning game of FoG?

Richard - great, thanks!

I am happy to go with the earlier period armies, and given the short time (I'm out most of tomorrow), I'm happy to go with a list of your construction. Something Greek, perhaps, to go against your Persians?

I myself am armyless, with a only a pile of unpainted lead to speak of (Lombard) to date.

Thanks for the game Paul -it was fun .
Second game saw a Persian triumph - not without losses Very Happy , it was fun also and by then I had remembered how the rules worked for Persians so that helped !
Let me know if you want to road test an army . I can do lots of anything except Chariots and Chinese .

Thanks guys for letting me look over your shoulders yesterday during your game and walking me through the rules. I really enjoyed seeing how these armies played out. I think that a lot of it is becoming clearer now after I read through some of the rule book last night.
Im now trying to work out how to fit in time to paint my Egyptians without also getting too distracted by other army lists, and work..... Confused

Cheers, Mark.
