|A few people have expressed interest in putting photos in their posts but aren't sure how. This is a (hopefully) simple guide on what to do.
First, you need to upload the picture somewhere. To your own personal webpage, or somewhere like photobucket, or anywhere else - so long as it is somewhere on the Internet (ie, not just on your own computer).
You need to know the URL to access this image directly. For example, the logo on the League of Ancients website can be accessed by typing http://www.leagueofancients.org.au/img/logohelldunkel.gif directly into the address bar of your web browser. In order to get the image to display in a post, you need to use the [img] and [/img] tags, like so:
(Obviously you need to use square brackets instead of parentheses)
This will give you the image:
You can also use the Img button located just above the text box where you write the contents of your post. Click it once to start the img tag, type the URL, then click the button again to close the tag.
