Etienne is French for Stephen/Steven..... If you fill your mouth with crushed snails and then try to say "Steven" it will come out as something sounding like "Etienne" at least that is what I am told.
You get much the same effect if you try it with Guillarme and William!
At least the Frogs* do not mangle my name too much, nor for that matter the name Richard.
cheers

That will be great Tyler - send me you email address and I will let you have something on the weekend. Never having seen the Argus (Richard S ) I'm not sure how long it is or how much space you want me to take up? Any particular format you want it in? |

He hasn't seen an Argus because the work email he gave blocks it . He has another but he chose to make sqeaking noises of distress rather than tell us the one that will work .

Great to have you involved Nick. Poles will be fun.
I was thinking to not include Swedes on the assumption that no one has an army of them? Any Swedish armies out there who want to play? Or does Bernadotte get written out of this play? |

Actually, there's a certain Swedish gentleman who has been painting FOGN Swedes, and who is going to be in Melbourne in December and January...maybe November as well. I'll talk to him about it. |

Hi Richard (G)
I am in Rosebud and I travel most days so Mordy is easy for me - weekends are usually good - send me a PM if you're up for a game. This will be my first foray into Fog:N - keen to learn
Cheers
Steve
PS. I'm etienne for no better reason than there were a couple of steves already on the forum when I signed on last year - seemed like a good idea at the time! |

Apart from being a threatening formation during these campaigns, as far I know the only military contribution of the Swedes was besieging some rear area garrisons on the Elbe and in on the Baltic, and lobbing some shells on the second day of Leipzig. And winning the funny hat award of course. |

Hi,
Interested in playing on the French side.
However, a November start might be challenging for me due to medical stuff. Any chance of an anniversary campaign for 2013?
