They're loooking great. Did you not have trouble with the blutack not holding the minis strongly enough? |

Never had a problem with bluetac. I base spray bluetac'ed to a ruler, then transfer to individually bluetac'ed to a small individual stand, then back to a ruler for varnishing. |

Prussian reserve infantry and landwher are great to paint quickly, nice paint job on those. I always mix up the colours a bit with regards to trousers and sometimes tops to represent stuff they've got from dead frenchies or russkies. |

Ok need advice, what are people using for Spray Varnish?
When I last painted (some 5 years ago) I used Games Workshop Gloss Varnish Spray (as a strong protective cover) followed by Testors Dullcoat (Matt Spray) because I much prefer a full matt finish.
The Dullcoat is still availble but the GW Gloss Spray is no longer available.
On various internet forums they talk about Matt Varnish Spray's available at the equivelent of our Bunnings/Mitre 10 but the brand names are very different to here. I found a Matt Varnish Spray at Bunnings but its water based and from wht I can find water based spray varnish is more prone to 'yellowing'.
So, anyone found a good, locally available Fully Matt Varnish Spray (oil based) pwetty pweeeese? |
