Would be interested in a game of Gå På. I don't have any miniatures for this, but would be happy with any histroical scenario you're able to put together.

Would reading version 1 of the rules help?

The turn sequence has changed. The TQ stuff is mostly the same I hope. The author has a v2 reference PDF on his site.

I will scan williamites and polish lists and link them.

Okay cool - I've already downloaded the updates. Will have a look over them in the next two weeks.

Karsten, the most important thing is to roll 1 on your dice. Using CANCON dice I find that I'm a natural for Ga Pa Very Happy .

The battle will be a 200 point modified River Crossing. Poles (Green) vs Saxony (Trained). The Poles fought with Saxony and Sweden so it is a hypothetically plausible encounter.

mods: all troops on table. river still divided into 4 sectors and attacker must roll for which is the main attack. There are 2 fords and one foot regiment can have boats. defenders force (Poles) is divided across the four river sectors and sectors not under attack have to roll to be released unless enemy get within 200p (as if the sector was in Reserve). Attacker demonstrations need only 1 infantry unit instead of 3/4.

Armies

Saxony
MG Hans Herman von Wostromirsky
MG Johan Eberhardt von Drost
1 x Sachsiche Guard
3 x Line Infantry
2 x Newly recruited Line Infantry
1 x Leibregiment Cuirassiers
2 x Cuirassiers
1 x Dragoons
1 x 6lb gun

Poland
GH Stanislaw Jan Jablonowski
R Adam Smigielski
4 x German Infantry
1 x Hungarian Infantry
2 x Hussaria
6 x Pancerni
3 x Jazda Lekka
2 x Reitars

Damian - thanks for the game today. The scenario hampered you somewhat, but things did start to swing back in the end. I had a lot of fun. Some photos to follow (the lighting was terrible).

Lyle - thanks for the advice, helped a lot! I have found a game where rolling low is a blessing and not a curse.

Glad you enjoyed it. As the one putting on the game I'm allowed to lose. The river sector kept the fighting forces smaller which I think was an advantage for getting through the rules and turns without being slowed down.
