VICTORIAN RENAISSANCE TITLES
AGE of REFORMATION

Dates: 12th and 13th April 2014
Location: Club Tivoli
Army Lists: Any lists with the period 1500 1565
Two Sizes: 800 points and 700 points
Scenario Based
Army Lists to Michael Bornstein (mbornste@tpg.com.au) by 7th April 2014

Additional Notes:
This is the era of pike kiels and large tercios. Mounted shock troops were lance armed and firearms were not in abundance. It ends with the outbreak of the French Religious Wars.
Anyone wishing to create a scenario should send it to me for play-testing. Any battle in the 16th or 17th century would be appropriate.

Michael's using Japanese in my practice game so I'm guessing yes.

Do the words "any list 1500 - 1565" mean anything to you????

Right. Tupi it is.

And a scenario based on this:

With plenty of cavalry hampering jungle terrain.

I recommend How Tasty is my Little Frenchman if you get the chance to see it late night on SBS. Quite amusing when one of the Portuguese starts reciting a chicken recipe in French to avoid capture by the Tupi, and it does have a large number of naked Brazilian women!

Anyone able to point me in the direction of an army builder enhanced Excel spread sheet like the common one you can download for FoG:AM?

I have found one for FoG:R, but you have to edit it and print it while on the website, and that's not really convenient.

(Tupi army is about 40% done.)

No idea, I just use a individual spread-sheet written for each occasion

However I recommend getting your scenario to me in the next two weeks so I can test it to see if it is suitable.

Richard S - that's what I'm after, thanks. Thanks also Richard G for the offer.

I would prefer to start at 9am, but understand if we start later.

Michael - I'll see if I can get something together.

Indeed, if it could be managed with Tivoli, surely an 8.30am time on the Saturday would be wiser? With 7 hours of games and an hour for lunch that would still make it running very fine for a 5.00pm finish. If we are only starting to set up at 9.00am....

cheers
Mark
