Hi,
well the subject just about tells it all. I am thinking of running a large multi-player ECW game (15mm FoGR) at the march meeting. This is a chance for some stress free FoGR practice before the comp in April, albeit without using your own army.

The game depends on two things:
1) enough players to fill the commanders positions (at least three per side and maybe up to 5)
2) people who can provide troops (sadly my ECW collection does not stretch far enough to provide all the troops).

So if you are interested in playing and/or can provide troops then let me know. If you have a preference for one side or the other then let me know that as well.

The game will involve a degree of the fog of war, so players may not know who their co-commanders are until they meet on the table.

Regards
Martin Morgan

I would like to be involved. I can provide four unit of foot, two of cav, one of Dragoons and one of artillery. They would work for either side, though they look a bit more Royalist than not. Also have four commander bases.

Haven't played FOGR in far too long, though, so it would be a matter of following along to try to remember the rules.

Interested in playing (either side). Have no ECW troops painted. I could squeeze one or two BGs of ECW horse (I own no ECW/TYW foot) into the queue if you let me know in time (say 20th February).

Sounds great Martin, I would be keen to join in. Unfortunately, all my ECW toys are 28mm!

I can bring my Scots Covenantors to the game. I can cover all reasonable list options for them but let me know if there are specific units you need.

I'd like to be in that as well Martin.

I have plenty of Royalists, well over 800pts if I give them all the upgrades and artillery.
Also a reasonable Covenanter force.

Ian Poade.

Thanks everyone for the replies.

I am still looking for between 1 and 4 more players, so if you are interested then let me know. Previous FoGR experience is not necessary - most of the generals in the ECW had little idea of what they were doing anyway! Smile

For those that have already replied, if you have preference for one side or the other then please let me know by private message. If you could let me know your email addresses that would be good to as I would like to post out scenario details before the game and generals have to make some pre-battle decisions before the day of the battle.

Regards
Martin

Hi Carriage and Jonathon,
you are both welcome to join in. If you could send me your email addresses via personal message then I will send you the scenario information.
Jonathon, any foot or cavalry that you can provide would be most appreciated.

Regards
Martin
