Martin Morgan and I will do big 7 Years War Game on Sunday 17/7 at the meeting while we have the space in the large room! Torgau is quite an epic battle that Frederick was "lucky" to win.

It is using our collections of 28mm Prussians & Austrians. It is quite a large battle and we are happy for any volunteers to join in. M&R is simple to play but provides a great game at the army level with interesting decisions to make each turn.

Let me know if you are interested. Starting in the morning when we are allowed in the building!

Regards Geoff

Martin mentioned this was coming up. I'd love to take part.
What time are we gathering?

Andrew, start/set up when we can get in. I'll be there at 10.00 but never assume the German Club will let us in before 10.30. Maybe get in a bit earlier because of the Napoleonic comp happening.

We now have at least 5 players but any more are very welcome.

If you are still going after lunch, I may be able to join in. I have been excused duty at my 11 year old daughter's self arranged party

cheers

No worries Mark. Always welcome to join in. Hmm, replacing Michael with Mark.... not quite sure where that fits in AFL draft terms!

Hope to start about 10.00 if the Nappy players can get in and start at 9.30.

My afternoon game has just fallen through - so there might be one or two refugees seeking to join in if that's okay.

Thanks to all who played in our Torgau refuight. It was a great game and moved along well considering that most players had not played the ruleset before.

Did anyone get any good pictures of our game on Sunday? If so, would you like to post some here?

Regards
Martin

Hi Martin,

I've got some photos I took with my phone, but will have to work out a way of putting them somewhere on the internet and then linking to them, so that the forum can display them. Will try this from home tonight. If all else fails, I'll email them to you and Geoff.

Thanks to you and Geoff for putting on the game, it was fantastic, enjoyed it a lot.

Cheers, Mark

Hi Martin,
I also have some photos of the day, but don't have a public site. I might have to exchange emails with you next month to send you the photos..

I had a fabulous time, so thanks to you and Geoff for organizing it.

Cheers,
Andrew

So, I set up an Instagram page so that I could link to the photos and I can't make the &^$%*&# thing embed the links as images into this post Evil or Very Mad

Hopefully the link to the photos works. They are the only ones there, as I am the proud new owner of an Instagram site now and photos from this game is all I've uploaded to date :
