Hello

I spoke to a chap (whose name I can't remember) at the last meeting about an Age Of Eagles game at the August meeting.

Does anyone know anything about such a game? I was crook as a dog at the last meeting and I wasn't taking a lot in.

Regards

I would love to, but, since posting my message, I have discovered that I have to take my son to the Melbourne Uni open day on Sunday. I am, however, keen to try AoEs at a later date if possible.

I am currently painting up FPW armies to use with Age of Valour (the upcoming AoEs variant for the later 19th century wars). When I finish that project, I am intending to do French Revolutionary Wars with AoEs.

Regards

Sounds interesting- Eureka have the revolutionary French in greatcoats- really easy to paint and look great. I've also got a game in sept am if you are interested.

Thanks.

I should be able to do a game at the September meeting, unless Geelong is playing a final that day.

I bought a large box of Battle Honours Revolutionary Wars Austrians and Russians for a bargain price, so I will probably use those, but would be interested in Eureka French if they are compatible.

Regards

As it is week two of the finals it is unlikely that there will be a Sunday game.

Hi Andrew, looks like we have three players, do you want to be involved too? That would be four for a corps size game.

Thank you. Yes, I would be happy to play. What time?

I have the rules and will endeavor to read them before Sunday, but I am still going to be a beginner. I have, however, played Fire and Fury, so that might help.

Thank you. See you then.

It is looking less and less likely that I will have much time to read the rules before Sunday.
