I saw in one of the FB wargaming groups that Brett Kvisle will be running ADLG at Cancon.

I'm not 100% that I can attend Cancon, but if I do I will play ADLG.

I was a little surprised by the 250 point format but I have played it and it seems fine.

Hope to see some of you guys there.

We played on a 5x3 (which is still probably a little big). 6x4 would be vast for that number of points.

The terrain size is fine.

All of the other games of ADLG I have played have been 300 points so I probably have a slightly different perspective on it to some. I personally don't see the advantage of 200 points unless you are pressed for time or want more games. Pretty much all the 200 points comps overseas have been 3 games a day.

I agree about table size , I feel like a couple of minutes with tape Round 1 and we are good for the weekend at a more workable size

I'm happy with the points , I want time to hit the traders and buy toys !

Have tried a couple of 250 point games and we tend to find the game takes about 2 1/2 hours, total. You should be getting plenty of time at the trade stalls.

I believe Brett is planning to tape the table size down from 6x4 but I'm not sure to what size exactly (he did say he originally asked CANCON for 5x3's).

Haven't quite got used to all the rules but am enjoying the game in general.

Over 20? I only see 12 or so on the CGS entry chart. Hope you are right though.

I just entered, will be good to play in an ancients comp with more than 20 players.

They have updated the entry numbers. ADLG shows 14 entered. I would suggest entering soon if you haven't as there is very little space left on the Saturday.

14 is the largest ancients comp so far.

Looking forward to it

Ticketing has been "Suspended" as Saturday is fully booked. You may still be able to get a spot as chances are some of the events that didn't sell much (there are a few listed with 1-6 entrants) will be cancelled and their spots will become available.
