I am very keen to get a few people playing this wonderful rules set at the LoA.

The Warmaster rules may be lawfully downloaded at:

http://www.ricks-warmaster.com/ricks_updates-variants02.htm

I can supply armies as follows:

Empire, Bretonnia, High Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, Chaos, Dark Elves, Goblins, and I am currently working on Skaven [if anyone has Warmaster Skaven to sell, please PM me].

If there is enough interest I would be happy to run a mini campaign, but to be honest I would just love to get in a few more games.

cheers
Mark

What size armies are you planning to use?

I have Empire and Chaos armies somewhere that I could probably dig up.

That sounds great. Shall we aim for a 2,000 point friendly round robin at the February LoA meeting? Random draw in the morning and play off in the afternoon? If anyone else wants to join in, I can lend armies too.

cheers

I found my copy of these rules after seeing this - one of those long ago purchases with great intentions but zero follow-through.
I'd certainly be interested in a game or two. Can anyone provide links to a full set of army list, please? There are only a few in my rule book, and I know others have been released. Also, have any updates to the rules been released?

So do I have any takers for the February LoA? I am happy to supply armies [Empire, High Elves, Dwarves, Bretonnia, Chaos, Orcs and in a pinch Goblins & Wood Elves]. If there are only a few of us, let's just do a morning session, leaving the afternoon free for other distractions?

Warmaster is a fun, fast and furious system, well worth a try!

cheers

All this talk of Empire and elves are taking me back a bit!

I'd sign on but for a previous game arrangement.

I would play, but I will be commanding the glorious forces of Imperial Russia (with assistance from our valiant Prussian allies) against the French Beast in the snows of Eylau. Maybe next month Smile

No problems, we will defer the Warmaster League day until March at this stage and see how we go. Please post here or PM me off forum if you want to commit. It is such a lovely rules system and the models are so fabulous, that I would like to breathe some life into it at the LoA if I can.

What with the new Arthur & Aetius Saga, Bolt Action 2e, Chosen Men and Baroque, I have heaps of systems I want to play at the moment, not to mention revisiting other old favourites such as Trafalgar, M&T, SDS or WoG - it's such a great time to be a wargamer Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

cheers
