Would like to get a couple ADLG games in, and learn my way around a new army.

I'll defiantly be looking for a game or two myself if you're interested in a game Tyler?

Only very new to adlg, and wasn't too sure about it before vs dbm etc but I actually really enjoyed my 1st venture vs Ian last meet, although my game knowledge was pretty rough. Still I learned a lot.

As a side note if anyone is interested in getting in a couple of extra games in between league meets, I'd be interested. Living in Reservoir presently and have a large garage to game in.

Tyler and Martin - jumping on the ADLG bandwagon as a newbie too.

Tyler - happy to go in the morning? Any experienced player want to go through a game at 1:30ish?

(Martin not blanking you - experience tells me two newbies playing causes rules to be misunderstood, etc.)

OK, so Karsten in the morning, Martin after lunch?

I'm sure at least one more will jump in, between now and the meeting, for the other games.

I'll be running Later Samurai. Don't mind if opponents are historically plausible or not.

Remember that the League has two armies that any paid up club member is welcome to reserve. So if anyone is thinking of jumping in but doesn't have an army, try that. You can reserve them in the "Club Armies" section of the forum.

Hey guys,

Sure ok after lunch booked.

Not sure what I'll play... was going to play Teutonics again but I do have some later Samurai so I could give you a historical civil war - and since I'm new anyway maybe good to test various unit types anyway.

So thinking on that thought I guess I could bring both and play Teutons if I can find a morning match (these armies are so small anyway).

Hi again...

Tyler after looking at my japs... think it'll be easier if I play the earlier Samurai list but I'll play 1350 which is the cross over date.

Also still looking for a morning game if anyone is interested? Any volunteers on beating my Teutons up?

Earlier Samurai are fine, Martin. We'll just assume you're fighting for a painfully old fashioned Daimyo.

Think the league has some armies that can be used - but you'd need to talk to Stubbsy or someone like that. Can't help you with the other bit... learning myself Confused and already booked for next meet

Check out the Club Armies section of the forum. We've got a Greek pike-based army and a Roman legion.

Both were small armies in the days of FOG, which means there may be enough there to make two 200 point ADLG armies from each. Certainly enough for one with plenty of options to choose from.
