At the moment I (think I) have:

Karsten
Django
Paul
Ian P.

I could have another 2 players if there is interest. Please let me know.

cheers

Hi Mark,

I'm new to the LoA and would like to put my hand up for this. Not offended if there is no room, just looking for a game of something and to meet a few people.

I should be there between 10 and 10:30am.

Cheers,

Peter Spitz

Thanks to Karsten, Ian P, Django, Andrew S, Peter S and James for making Beersheba such a fun scenario game. It was something of a quintessential gaming conundrum that I have been mulling over for some years: How do you make a surprise charge work in a wargame when everyone knows the history?

The spirit with which the dogged Aussies and the valiant Turks (not to mention the elegant British Yeomanry formation-dancing team) all played was fabulous.

I have a few 1918 commemoration games in mind for next year, and so stay tuned.

cheers
Mark

Mark, James has contacted me via FB to say he has found one of your light horsemen in his bag, presumably it having dropped into it when clearing up.

Mark, is the resin trench/rubber no man's land terrain out of production Battlefield Accessories stuff from before Mike Parker switched to making MDF terrain?

Yes all Mike Parker make of 8+ years ago I fear...

I am so glad I snaffled it up when I did!

cheers
