With respect to lists, is there some spreadsheet-type toy available to assist in this?

Army Builder has a good BA 2e selector which prints off nice lists with all of the key stats.

cheers
Mark

PS This looks fabulous! I am now suffering under an extreme agony of choices as what to field....!

I'd love to run motorised Yank infantry, with piles of MGs, Bazookas and a Sherman...

But to be honest, beggars can't be choosers. I would take whatever's spare.

Thanks for that.
If the gods are kind, I will have 1,000pts of British ready to keep their upper lips from quivering in time for May. Smile

Hi All ,

Places are filling fast (its being advertised outside the Club too) and we will cap
the event at 20 players so please get your entry in for what should be a fun day .

2 games , pre-set terrain of all sorts and a chance to have a good hit out with the rules

Thanks to Richard, Lachie and Tristan, 28 people had a great Bolt Action "event" today. Hopefully this will bring some fresh faces into the LoA more regularly and it is interesting that this is one of the biggest events that the LoA has held in quite some time (or at least it's right up there if I have missed any since I hung up my tourney spurs some years ago).

The War&Peace Games sponsorship was generous too, yet another good reason to shop with the friendly and helpful folk there! With every player getting a prize, and no formal placed based awards, at first I feared it would be like the Joan Kirner approach to higher education where everyone gets straight "A's" regardless of effort or ability, but the reverse proved true. It helped to generate an ultra friendly and relaxed attitude with an emphasis on having a good wargame. That's a lesson every tournament can learn from imho...

Indeed, with cross pollination of ideas from the BA community, a very well established and thriving branch of our hobby, I think the LoA can only benefit greatly.

Richard was the inspiration for this liaison, and he spent most of Saturday night setting up with Lachie and Tristan. Well done, Mate, you have earned your Lance Corporal's stripe in the Walmington on Sea platoon!

cheers
Mark
