Dunno if anyone has any interest in this but I wanna try something different and a naval game seems to be something fun and different. Looking at WW2 because I would love to do a Imperial Japanese fleet with some carriers, cruisers and destroyers... and the odd battleship.

Just curious who out there has models, rulesets they can recommend and if people are up for a game?

There's a few rulesets out there - what level of complexity are you looking for?

For WWII the common scale are 1/1200, 1/2400 and 1/6000. I'd choose a range of miniatures that suits your level of quality and price.

Some easy to read pages for you:

Personally I've been happy with Victory at Sea using the prepainted War at Sea miniatures (1/1800 scale).
