While Napoleonics isn't my thing (except to remember marching badly painted Airfix French against their English counterparts), one of my co-workers is keen to try out a rule set called "Age of Eagles". Apparently basing is the same as Napoleon's Battles and he can supply some French and Westphalians. If anyone is interested in doing something at the November meeting say "Aye".

My dance card for November is open at the moment.
The basing for Age of Eagles is very similar to NB except that cavalry is based in a single 2 x 1 base rather than a 2 x 2 base.

I do have most of the Napoleonic armies except Perfidiuos Albion

Let me know more details closer to the event.

Cheers

My mate Mark is a St Kilda supporter, so you can tell each other how things will be better without Grant Thomas Surprised , as well as fight a battle!

I have now booked a DBR game for the morning, but the afternoon slot is still available.

Does Mark have figures? If so, which army and I will match them with an opponent. If not I can make up some "playtest" forces.

Cheers

Hi Lyle, bet you've forgotten this post. How did the game go?
