Has anyone else found vallejo paints to be a bit watery or did I just get a bad batch?

It's my understanding that they need a lot of shaking etc to mix the paint the first time you use a fresh bottle. I use Tamiya which is in pots so I can stir it with a stick.

I second the jolly good mix. It is suggested to put in some ball bearings to help (or fishing sinkers but I'd hedge towards stainless steel rather than lead)....haven't actually tried this myself yet though... Some colours like dark prussian blue take A LOT of shaking to get much flow from the paint.
The fantasy colours are a lot thinner than the other "normal" range.

I've also found the 'earthy' colours are a little watery if you don't give them a real good shake before use. Some of the other colours I've found need a bit of watering-down after shaking... Rolling Eyes

Cheers
