Is All Infantry fire at Cavalry units -2 (-1 rifles) ? My reading of the rules suggests this.

With a unhealthy predication for ottoman armies I'm very interested in Cavalry V Infantry how it works.

Infantry changes to square as a response to charge they only get 3 dice? They loss -2 for cavalry within 6 MU down to 1 dice wont hurt cavalry (large or superior groups drop 1 hot anyway).

Yeah , the less dice for shooting at the longer range represents

skirmishers being driven back in due to enemy cav .
