Yeah, it's 15mm. A combination of cost, speed of painting, it matching the groundscale better and the terrain being useful for FoGN was why we decided on that.

The game was good I really like the patrol phase at the start where you move your markers around to get jump off points and the activation mechanic was good and once you get your head around what the command dice mean, the game's really simple. I've only played that one game but I'm pleased with it so far.

Finished off the red and yellow today. This is probably the most slow and frustrating bit of these minis. After rereading my main source and reading a couple of others, it turns out that white trousers/overalls for foot artillery was more common even though the blue ones are mentioned in a contemporary source (1806). Given that they're not too hard, I'll probably redo the trousers.

So I finished painting the artillery and also got my rifles done

The rifles were a bit of a struggle as black on dark green doesn't pop like the white webbing does. I think they turned out okay though.

Nice painting, at this range they look good. With a bit of flock and on the table with the rest of your army they will pop Wink

So I finished painting my light dragoons a while ago. Here's a shot without the sandy gunk on the bases done.

Also, tonight I finished painting my heavy dragoons. They still need to be based.

Next are my kgl hussars. Their horses are already done as I did them at the same time as the heavy dragoons.

I look forward to killing them! Twisted Evil

So, I did get these guys painted for the Vic Naps Champs last month as many of you would have seen and I still need to sort out some photos the the army as I took it.

Currently I'm thinking about trying some things with basing. I did this this morning with some dudes to give a colour/scale comparison.

What are peoples' thoughts over all and also on the colour of the main static grass? I'm wondering if it's a bit light (the photos make it a bit darker), though grass does look like that. I've got some other tufts too (other colours, flowers and bushes) which I'm fairly happy with.

Wow - seeing the detail up close is great (those kilts!).

I agree with Richard - light green with a few darker, taller tufts and some flowers (not too many - I find they usually look better on 28mm figures).
